Congress Turns Tail on Libya
By: Jared M. Grifoni, Esq. Yesterday, Congress had the opportunity to assert its powers under the Constitution vis-à-vis its sole ability to declare war by bringing the resolution crafted by Rep. Dennis Kucinich to a full floor vote. The measure called for a complete end to U.S. involvement in Libya “not later than 15 days” after the adoption of the resolution.
